Vic: Bushfires report tabled, recommends major improvements

MELBOURNE, Aug 17 AAP - The interim report from the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission
has recommended major improvements to bushfire warning systems including a level above
the current top "extreme level".

The report, the blueprint for the state's bushfire response post-Black Saturday, has
been tabled in the Victorian parliament.

"We don't want this tragedy to ever happen again," Victorian Premier John Brumby said.
